Focus your attention to the new 2016 Ford Focus RS. Ford's bestselling hot hatch recently confirmed the official pricing of the car.
According to Auto Blog, The 2016 Ford Focus RS will clock at about $36,605, the same as the earlier leaked price of the car.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS also packs quite a punch as, reportedly, it can go 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.7 seconds, beating out closest competitors such as the Subaru WRX STI and the Volkswagen Golf R.
With its combination of launch control, all-wheel driving and torque vectoring at the rear axle makes the 2016 Ford Focus RS have a very consistent fast acceleration. Auto Car stated that the Ford Focus RS is slapped with a 2.3 liter, four-cylinder Ecoboost engine.
As reported by Car and Driver, The 2016 Ford Focus RS claimed to produce an output of "more than 315 horsepower." To be exact, it gives a whopping 345 horsepower. As for its torque, the Focus RS gives out a 347-lb ft for up to 15 seconds when the driver's right foot slams the pedal.
Ford Focus RS' engine also features a larger turbo compressor, a larger intercooler, free-flowing intake and a bigger diameter performance exhaust system with active valve in its tailpipe. It's blue, it's mean and it's big.
"We promised enthusiasts a serious driving machine and, with 345 bhp under the hood, that is exactly what we will deliver," said Dave Pericak, global director, Ford Performance.
What makes the 2016 Ford Focus RS more fun to drive is it features several chassis mode, among them a "Drift Mode" that lets you hang the tail out and brake-based torque-vectoring on the front wheels.
Ford announced that the delivery for the new 2016 Ford Focus RS is expected to be delivered to North American customers in spring of 2016.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS is both offered in an automatic transmission and a six-speed manual transmission.
