"Arrow" season four promises more thrills to its fans, and while we're days away from the premiere of episode one, CW had already released a teaser for episode two. The ComicBookMovie.com learned that Oliver Queen, played by Stephen Amell, and Thea, played by Willa Holland, will join forces to protect Jessica Danforth, an old family who decides to run for Mayor.
A lot of "Arrow" fans find Thea's transition, over the three seasons, from being a bratty sister and a party-goer to the red-hooded archer, who became Green Arrow's sidedkick, impressive.
Holland, who is not new to Hollywood, has some things to share. Let's go ahead and find out some interesting facts about the actress behind Oliver Queen's sister.
1. She started her career at seven.
This "Arrow" season four cast became a Ford model at the age of seven, thanks to Steven Spielberg who convinced her mom Darnell Gregorio-De Palma to put her in front of the camera.
She was the top child model in the United States, when she was seven until eleven years old. She had also modeled for prime brands like Guess, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch and Ralph Lauren, according to IMDb.
2. There was a point in her life that she didn't care about the world.
"I spent a lot of time putting myself back into being a kid again. I [had been] forcing myself to grow up a lot," she said during her interview with Wonderland.
Just like her character in "Arrow" season four, Holland has been through a lot. At one point, she decided to take a break from the spotlight, and spent some time with her high school friends — as a normal teen.
"We would go skate every day, I'd take photos every day, we'd play music all night, and barbecue, be together, have good times, and it was just awesome," she continued. "There was no care in the world for a little while."
3. Her ultimate goal is to direct and star in her own film.
If this happens, the story will be based on the how her mother and father met for the first time in the Caribbean, on a boat.
"When my mom told me, I was like, 'if there's any story that I was born to tell I think it was this,'" she said.
Watch Holland kick some villain asses when "Arrow" season four returns on Oct. 7.
