Halloween Costumes 2015: 5 AWESOME Ideas To Take Your Costume Game To The Next Level
By Staff Reporter | Oct 05, 2015 07:52 AM EDT
Halloween costumes are now an essential part of every Halloween celebration.
Many think that wearing spooky or quirky costumes ends when you stop going on Trick or Treats, but grown-ups can still join in the fun and rock an outfit that may be borderline ridiculous, yet still fit for this once-in-a-year occasion.
1. Netflix And Chill
As reported by Inquistr, this year's break-out costume comes from the famous meme, "Netflix and chill." In an understated but really clever costume, all you have to do is wear a t-shirt that bears the logo of Netflix then pair it with a bag of ice. Perhaps this costume was taken a bit too literally.
2. Imperator Furiosa
The year 2015 has been a big year for pop culture and numerous movies, TV shows, artists and personalities have inspired Halloween costumes.
According to Entertainment Weekly, among the famous Halloween ensembles is the Imperator Furiosa from the movie "Mad Max: Fury Road." Amputated arm and shaved head aside, it's pretty easy for girls and even boys to pull this off. Just rock a dirty shirt, some goalie shoulder pads, a pair of grungy tactical pants, a large toy gun and then smear your head and face with black oil and voila, you are the Imperator personified.
3. Donald Trump
Donald Trump is not only the leading presidential candidate based off of polls, he's now also a popular Halloween costume. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to look like him. Just wear a normal two-piece business suit, a ridiculous blond coiffed wig, and you are good to go.
4. Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair Cover
Yes, expect the Internet to make anything a costume. For those who want to "wear" Caitlyn Jenner whether you're a girl or a dude, just wear a white one-piece bathing suit and a long-haired wig.
5. Spider-Man
Superhero costumes are almost a tradition in any Halloween celebration. And according to Comic Book, the most popular superhero costume of all time is none other than that of the web-slinging Spider-Man. Perhaps it goes well with the spider and cobweb props in "Haunted House" attractions?
And there you have it. Halloween may still be weeks away but you better start planning your costume now.
