The Neiman Marcus' 700-HP Mustang will blow your mind. Boasting an acceleration rate of 0 to 60 MPH in just a whopping 2.8 seconds, this is arguably the strongest pony/muscle car to date.
According to Mashable, Neiman Marcus, a luxury department store, commissioned Ford to create a special edition of their popular sports car.
The result of that partnership is a very special Neiman Marcus Mustang that not only gives out a ridiculous 700 units of horsepower, but it will also is one of the rarest cars in the world. According to reports, only 100 units will be made. In addition, it also won't come cheap as the cost is $95,000, almost triple the price of a basic Mustang.
For those wondering why the high price, the Neiman Marcus 700-HP Mustang has a 5.0-liter Ford V8 engine that has been fitted with a 2.3-liter supercharger. With this much power under its hood, it now delivers the aforementioned 700 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque.
As noted by Automobile Mag, the Neiman Marcus 700-HP Mustang isn't your regular kind of Mustang. According to the report, with the purchase comes a two-day Ford Racing School course that will teach the owner about high-performance driving skills.
But with great power comes great braking responsibility. This convertible Mustang is fitted with Brembo brakes, Hawk Performance brake pads, Nitto NT05 tires and a performance racing suspension sway bars.
Casual drivers be damned, car purists will enjoy this particular Mustang as it will only come in a manual transmission.
As reported by Car and Driver, Christmas may still be a couple of months away but, car lovers are already including the Neiman Marcus 700-HP Mustang on their wish lists.
The Neiman Marcus Mustang is the second pony/muscle car to receive this treatment as way back 2011, its rival the Chevrolet Camaro also got they Neiman Marcus upgrade where it sold out in a record of just three-minutes.
