"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" standard edition will be available on Oct. 23, but on top of that, Ubisoft will also release a Gold Edition and some collectibles for interested gamers.

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" Gold Edition includes the game itself plus a season pass. As per the official game's site, this special edition includes the Last Maharaja Mission Pack, two top-tier sets of gear and weapons, the streets of London gameplay pack, an exclusive "A Long Night" mission and XP Boost.

The players will also be able to hunt Jack the Ripper in an all-new campaign.

The detail about this add-on wasn't specifically discussed on the trailer, but on the game's site, it stated that the Jack the Ripper is set 20 years after the events of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate."

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" gold edition cost $89, according to the report of GottaBe Mobile back in September. It is reportedly more than $30 than the standard copy.

Meanwhile, the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" also offers the Legendary Hidden Blade and Gauntlet and Cane Sword for interested gamers and collectors. Both are life-size replicas of the weapons Jacob is using.

They can be ordered on UbiworkShop, UPlay, GameStop, Target, Walmart and Amazon.

Moving on to the news about the actual game, this may come as bad news to last gen console owners. It has been reported that the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will carry full transition of the IP over to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This means that players who would like to experience "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will need to have a PS4, Xbox One or an upgraded PC. Gaming Bolt learned that Ubisoft did not consider the PS3 and Xbox 360 when they developed the game.

"For us, that was always the plan. There were never any past-gen considerations. Syndicate is the only project I can speak to — I can't speak for what else might've been planned," said Scott Phillips, game director at Ubisoft Quebec, as per MCVUK's report.

That is because of the benefits the new gen console has brought to "Assassin's Creed Syndicate."

"It's mainly about delivering the quality experience: the visual quality, the accuracy, the speed of streaming, the size of the disc and so on," he added. "Next-gen always brings your fidelity much higher."
