‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Season 6 Episode 1 [SPOILERS]: 5 Reasons Why Fans Should Watch Upcoming Premiere On Monday Night

Hours before the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" Season 6 premiere, fans are definitely getting excited for the upcoming dramas, cat fights and the love triangles in the VH1 series. While we already had a glimpse of what to expect in the anticipated sixth season, here are 5 reasons why fans should watch the first episode titled, "Crown."
1. Rapper Remy Ma's comeback in the spotlight on "Love & Hip Hop New York" Season 6
After serving six years in prison, Bronx-born rapper Remy Ma is making her television comeback on the season premiere of "LHHNY" on Monday night. According to New York Post, Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, was approached by the show's executive producer Mona Scott Young to join the cat of the riotous reality show.
"I was approached by ['Love & Hip Hop' executive producer] Mona Scott Young," Ma said. "They wanted to bring back the essence of what she initially wanted the show to be."
As she is set to shake things up in the series, Remy Ma will still be on probation and has to follow a set of rules after her imprisonment at the Rikers Island prison for felony assault, illegal weapon and coercion related to the non-fatal shooting of her friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph.
Aside from Ma, her husband Papoose will also be on debuting on the show.
2. New cast revealed on "Love & Hip Hop New York" Season 6
In the upcoming season premiere, fans will reportedly see original cast along with the new members to the show. The cast include Mariah Lyn, Young B, SexxyLexxy and MissMoeMoney, who are believed to bring more drama, passion and possible love stories on the show, Vine Report noted.. Also joining the group are Remy Ma, Paposse, DJ Self and Cardi B.
3. Who quit "Love & Hip Hop" New York Season 6?
Last season, Erica Men pulled a shocking announcement about her exit on the series because she wanted to focus on life with Bow Wow. Unfortunately, the couple has been plagued with rumors claiming a breakup and call-off their engagement. Aside from Men, fans will also miss Jhonni Blaze, Cyn Santana, Diamond, Precious Paris, Chick Santana and Chrissy Monroe, International Business Times reported.
4. "LHHH" star Rich Dollaz joining "Love & Hip Hop: New York" Season 6?
Known as Moniece Slaughter's lover in "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood," Dollaz is reportedly appearing on the series with his daughter Ashley and her mom. As per another IBT report, Slaughter's ex has been flooding his Instagram page with photos of himself and his baby mama.
5. "Love & Hip Hop: New York" Season 6 Synopsis
"In the Season 6 premiere, Remy Ma returns to the stage after more than six years behind bars," "LHHNY" Season 6 Episode 1 synopsis read. "Peter finds himself in a sticky situation with Amina and Tara; Yandy and Mendeecees face an uncertain future; and young female artists battle for the top spot at DJ Self's Cypher."
Aside from the never-ending love triangle between Gunz and his two baby mama, Tara and Amina, the series' favorite couple Yandy and Mendeecees will also share their journey as they try to live a normal life after getting married. Yandy is preparing to get back to manage artists and focus on her career. Mendeecees, on the other hand, will be facing impending legal issues.
