One Direction fans have been waiting for the young singer, Lous Tomlinson, to officially announce that he's a proud father to a baby. And the exact congratulatory line would be, "Congratulations! It's a baby boy!"

Briana Jungwirth just gave birth to a healthy baby boy and Tomlinson went to Twitter to announce the good news:

I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :)  He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!

Tomlinson is officially a father and Briana Jungwirth, the LA based stylist, a mother. Both proud parents to Freddie. Online reports indicated that, although the two are not really an official couple, they are quite excited about the new addition to their lives and Louis has eagerly expressed that he will be a hands-on kind of dad. 

Fans, friends and family have expressed their congratulations to Tomlinson but Simon Cowell - the popular Idol judge and the man who signed One Direction under his wing gave the new-dad some piece of advice. 

He told Louis to man up and made his share of bad experiences as an example, back in July when the world knew that he was an expecting father.

You man up. You're fortunate because you're in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that. I've received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them. This is your business but I'm here for you. 

The One Direction singer went to Instagram to show the world just how beautiful his son is and announced that his name is Freddie Reign. The name was reportedly chosen by both parents. Freddie was chosen by Louis because he liked the sound of it, and Reign was chosen by Briana because it's an earthy name.
