Celebrity Deaths: Five Of The Biggest Stars We Lost In 2015

Before entering the year of 2016, which was filled with shocking deaths as well, 2015 gave fans legit crying time with some of their favorite celebrities passing away.
Take a look at five of the brightest stars the world lost in 2015, and the reason behind their deaths:
1. Wes Craven. The famed maestro of horror known for his works; "Nightmare on Elm Street," "Scream" and "The Hills Have Eyes," died on Aug. 3, 2015 due to brain cancer at his home in Los Angeles, California. The filmmaker was 76.
2. Christopher Lee. "The Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars" actor died on jJun. 7 last year after being admitted for respiratory problems and heart failure shortly after he celebrated his 93rd birthday. The public announcement of his death was delayed by his wife to Jun. 11.
3. B.B. King. The 1987 Rock and Roll Hall of Famer who introduced an influential style of guitar soloing, B.B. King died peacefully in his sleep on May 14 at the age of 89 after hospitalizations due complications from high blood pressure and diabetes.
4. Leonard Nimoy. Known for his legendary role for "Star Trek," Mr. Spock died on Feb. 15 at 83. In 2014, Nimoy publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease which he attributed to his smoking addiction that he had already given up 30 years prior to the diagnosis. Due to complications and chest pains, he passed away in his home in Bel Air.
5. Scott Weiland. Best known as the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and the supergroup Velvet Revolver, Weiland passed away during a tour stop in Bloomington, Minnesota on Dec. 3. The police searched the tour bus and found small amounts of cocaine in the bedroom where Weiland's lifeless body was found. Despite the discovery of drugs including Xanax, Viagra, sleeping pills, etc., no underlying cause of death was immediately given.
