"Saw 8" is one film that fans are still expecting to see in the near future. Although production are clearly not detailing any progress of what's next with the James Wan' installment, the movie is certainly coming soon and is reportedly expected to increase the "torture porn" for viewers.
As of writing, what has been confirmed is that Wan is partnering with Leigh Whannell to make the eighth installment a reality. The last installment of "Saw" which happened in 2010, "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter," detailed the story of a man who is befalling in the perception that he is a Jigsaw survivor.
Moving to the eighth installment, the plot for "Saw 8: Legacy" is still undetermined but Youth Health Mag hinted that the new film is expected to produce more shock inducing torture sequences.
"Fangoria pointed out the possibility that 'Saw 8' or 'Saw: Legacy,' given the numerous 'torture porn' movies abundant to date (possibly after the resurgence of the zombie and apocalyptic movies), will up the level of torture. What happens after the death of Jigsaw is another pouring out of speculations in the months to come." according to the outlet.
Meanwhile, the team that will make "Saw 8: Legacy" also comprises of "Piranha" directors Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. Stolberg and Goldfinger has written some of the caliber horror, thriller movies to date such as "Sorority Row" and the rest of the "Piranha" franchise movies.
On the other hand, Crossmap said that "Saw 8: Legacy" is still undetermined if it would even be a sequel, prequel, reboot or a spin-off. In counting, there were already six sequels that the movie released.
