While "X-Men: Apocalypse" is gearing up for its release in May this year, the Marvel comics based movie recently released more details on what to expect in the upcoming mutant-filled saga. The people behind the new movie featured yet a tidbit of Mystique's character in the movie and how the other super mutants must get ready before a "war"meets them.
In the recently revealed short clip provided by Comic Book Resources, "X-Men: Apocalypse's" Mystique together with other characters in the movie hinted that a "war" is about to happen. Jennifer Lawrence who plays the role of the blonde shapeshifter mimicker hinted to viewers the words "war" in the preview.
The other characters who showed some promising stunts and skills in the tiny clip according to NME are Olivia Munn who plays Psylocke, and Ororo Munroe as the ravaging beauty Storm. Meanwhile, the short video also featured Apocalypse, the "immortal/ mortal" supervillain who is out to conquer the world.
The fearsome entrance of Apocalypse in the story draws in other menacing superpowers that ails the need for the mutant protagonists to fight the rise of war.
The threat that grows in the movie is even doubled when Apocalypse begins to create allies with Magneto and other mutants in the movie. Aside from the actors listed above portraying the part, the movie also includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Sophie Turner and Nicholas Hoult.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" opens in theaters on Memorial Day, May 27, 2016.
