Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012: Will Beyonce Perform Better than Madonna?
By Staff Reporter | Feb 03, 2013 12:25 PM EST
The Super Bowl game 2013 is finally here between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers and Beyonce will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Madonna performed at last year's Super Bowl and her 12-minute show attracted 111 million TV viewers, even beating the ratings for the Super Bowl game itself.
Beyonce has been hard at work preparing for her Super Bowl XLVII halftime show appearance today, and sources claim her rehearsals suggest a raunchy performance.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Beyonce and her dancers were rehearsing sexy stretches with some stripper poles this week.
''Who knows if they'll use them in the actual performance, but she was grinding away on one like a professional.''
The Super Bowl will be televised on CBS, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. (PST)
Beyonce also sang the national anthem at Obama's inauguration this year and was riddled with criticism after she was speculated to have lip-synced the song.
In an ABC News post, Beyonce acknowledged that she did not actually sing the National Anthem, but mouthed a pre-recorded track. Beyonce has said she will not lip-synch at the Super Bowl because she has had plenty of time to rehearse.
