Kim Kardashian is known to being open about her full figure and recently she has taken to her Kim Kardashian West website after being heavily criticized by her nude selfies.

Jobs & Hire previously reported that Bette Midler slammed Kim K. for posting another nude selfie. The legendary icon hinted that her selfies are nothing the world has never seen before. To hopefully put an end to criticisms, Kim Kardashian posted an essay on her official website about empowerment to celebrate International Women's Day.

The reality star starts off with saying that she wanted to elaborate about the recent tweets that happened between her and those who shamed her.

Viewers may be smelling the scent of revenge but it looks like Kim K. just wanted to clear the air about her actions. "In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives," Kim said. She further added that she doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink and has never commited a crime.

Her essay then focuses on body-shaming and her sex tape scandal, describing that she was being blamed as a bad role model for being proud of her body. She elaborated that the scandal was 13 years ago and should not be an issue anymore. To emphasize her definition of empowerment, she continued her essay about the emotions she felt over the issue. "I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn't have to constantly be on the defense."

Kim Kardashian has had a long run of body shaming criticisms and backlashes but it is clear that she is not going to stop and wants everybody to move on.

In celebration of International Women's Day, she wrote "I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world."

Kim isn't the only sister that is under the magnifying glass. Check out the video below to see what her sisters Kylie and Kourtney were up to:
