‘Fast And Furious’ 8 Cast And News: Accident On Set, Plus Supercar Updates Teased!

After Vin Diesel's "Fast 8" revealed the set of powerful cars that will be used in the movie, reports are now stirring about a controversial event that happened in the filming of the of the adrenaline-packed, car-chasing movie.
Metro detailed that a horse was severely wounded while "Fast and Furious 8" is filming on location in Iceland. "The animal, called Jupiter, was so frightened by a styrofoam replica of an iceberg - blown away from the production by gale force winds - that it ran into a nearby lava field and broke its leg," the report said.
"The injury was so severe that the horse was put down on the spot. A second horse was injured."
CinemaBlend reported that Jupiter is now killed after the event and the production crew behind "Fast 8" already reached out with the horse' owners to inform them of the sad news and that they will be covering for the necessary fees and damages that the incident incurred.
Although an incessant incident happened while "Fast and Furious 8" was shooting, the production team behind it made sure first hand that a legitimate approval was made before filming the movie in the said location. "Fast 8 is filming on top of the southern part of the frozen lake, having acquired a special permit from the Environment Agency because it is a protected area." Meanwhile, Breathecast previously hinted that massive army trucks will be showcased in the film, but it also recently speculated on what kind of supercar will be used in the next installment.
"âDiesel and (director F Gary) Gray have yet to tell us what supercars could feature in the eighth instalment but expect them to up the ante once again after the likes of the âLykan HyperSport made an appearance in 7â," the report claimed. "But hopefully we'll get to see Dom inject some noz in something resembling the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SSââ or 1970 Dodge Charger."
"Fast & Furious 8" will hit theaters on Apr.14, 2017.
