Rumors have been circulating online about the possibility of Google releasing a 7-inch Pure Android tablet within the year. That tablet will be called Nexus 7 2016.
It has been revealed that this tablet is one of the things you should have this year because of its premium build. However, a more interesting feature related to this device has been circulating all throughout the web. It has game-changing features that are optimized for maximum productivity.
Google's Nexus 7 has been known to have set the standards high. However, the third Nexus 7 is said to come with features that are useful for business use. It is equipped with the Google mobile operating system known as the Android N 7.0
No further details have been released by Google, but it is believed that "Huawei has already locked in a deal on the device that many imagined as the 7-inch version of the Nexus 6P," a Yibada report stated. "But HTC is believed to remain a solid contender on the project as the company is also rumored to manufacture Google's signature smartphones," the report added.
Another report speculated that when "looking at the design elements of Nexus 6P, the new tablet may feature a metal and glass body which can be a paradigm shift from the previous two versions of Nexus. Nexus 7 may even feature premium packaging to complement the hardware specs that are expected to compete with Apple's iPad and Samsung's Galaxy Tab."
On the other hand, there are also reasons enumerated by Yibada why individuals should not be too excited for this particular device as it might be disappointing. One of this reasons is the price. The Nexus tablet's price is somehow considered to be too pricey.
Another reason is that the existing Nexus devices already have fair spec. "The current Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X are still available at discounted prices, but the handsets pack fair specs and features that are at par with other smartphones in the market," the report added.
