There are speculations that the Nintendo NX release date would be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS). The event is slated for September.
According to Neurogadget, there are rumors that the console will be unveiled at the TGS on Sep. 15. Hopefully, the Nintendo NX release date will also be revealed by then.
Nintendo and Sony, who is also expected to release the PlayStation 4.5, have not confirmed whether they will participate in the event. There haven't been any announcements regarding their new consoles as well.
Sony's PlayStation 4.5 will reportedly be unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show as well. It is expected to go 4K and may have virtual reality support.
The publication added that the next "Legend of Zelda" game will be published for both the Wii U and Nintendo NX. It is believed that the console will cost somewhere between $299 and $400.
The Nintendo NX release date will bring an innovative console to the market. The device will support 4K video streaming at 60 fps. Games can be played at 1080p.
It is also said to be powered by an AMD SoC (x86 APU). Moreover, the games available by the Nintendo NX release date will be "Dragon Quest X" and "Dragon Quest XI."
iDigitalTimes noted that the Nintendo NX is just a code name for the highly-anticipated console. It is highly likely that a new name will be introduced in the coming months, maybe by TGS 2016.
The website commented, though, that Nintendo should stick with the NX. It could pave the way for the video game company to redeem itself after the Wii U did not do so well in the market.
Nintendo News reported that the NX could be a hybrid for the next generation of its home and portable consoles. Deemed as "Nintendo Fusion," the next device may have new hardware systems: "Fusion DS" and "Fusion Terminal."
