In terms of achievement and major milestone, the SpaceX has attained much. Recent news and updates regarding the SpaceX and it Falcon 9 rocket is stunning to the core as it relays its journey for all viewers to see.
On Friday (May 27, 2016) SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with the THAICOM 8 satellite into orbit and as the Falcon soared into the sky, it is the 25th in the Falcon 9 line to attain the feat. It was also the fifth time in a row SpaceX attempted to land the first stage booster back on Earth, and as hoped the booster successfully touched down on the floating drone ship Of Course I Still Love You about nine minutes after launch, reports Slate.
The rocket undertakes two phases. The first phase boosts the upper stage in order for SpaceX Falcon 9's rocket to go up in the Earth's atmosphere and then to save weight, the first stage is released and as the second phase takes over, it would then boost the payload into the orbit.
In the past, most rockets just drop the first stage into the ocean. But the plan from SpaceX is to recover the first stage, clean it up, and reuse it, thereby saving many millions of dollars over building another one from scratch, reports the same post.
SpaceX aims on attaining much feat, which is why it is engaging in different options, and diversifying its plans. In a given post from Jobs & Hire, Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, never one to rest on his laurels, recently laid out the opening move in his long-term quest to land people on Mars and the plan begins with a Dragon capsule, similar to one of the cargo ships now parked at the International Space Station, blasting off for Mars aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket as early as 2018.
The recent news and updates regarding SpaceX and its Falcon 9 Rocket clearly showed the magnificent journey of the rocket into space and the full realization of SpaceX plans coming to fruition.
