Delena fans rejoice! A Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder "The Vampire Diaries" reunion may be coming soon. However, one person seems to be uncomfortable with the idea - the "TVD" actor's wife, Nikki Reed.

According to Parent Herald, rumors run rampant that Nina Dobrev is set to return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. This means a reunion with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder, who is now married to "Twilight" star Nikki Reed.

It was previously reported that Nina Dobrev returned to "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 finale. The "Final Girls" star lend her voice for new material for the series. "TVD" showrunner Julie Plec did confirm the actress' highly-awaited comeback but it won't be until the show's finale.

"It's what she and I kind of agreed on when she decided to move on, and it's what I've got in my head," Plec told TVLine. "Obviously things can change throughout time, if the show goes on longer than we expect it to or if we all collectively decide it would be fun to bring her back earlier, and she wanted to... So I'm sticking with my side of the plan, which is to bring her back at the very end."

Apparently, Nikki Reed is threatened about the inevitable Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder "TVD" reunion. However, she can't do anything about it since Julie Plec is determined to bring the former "Vampire Diaries" star back. Nina Dobrev portrayed Elena Gilbert, Damon Salvatore's (Ian Somerhalder) love interest.

IBT reported that Reed was happy when Dobrev announced that she was leaving "The Vampire Diaries" after season 6. The publication noted that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are believed to have cast their personal issues aside in order to give the series a send-off that it deserves.

"The show did so much for [Ian and Nina's] careers and put them on the map," a source told HollywoodLife.com about Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's "TVD" reunion. "For Julie Plec and the other writers and creators, they feel like they owe it to them to suck it up and send the show off any way they want to send it off."
