Paul Bhattacharjee: 'Dirty Pretty Things,' 'The Mistresses of Spices,' 'An Unsuitable Job For A Woman' Star Found Dead; Garners Tribute From Theatre World [VIDEO & REPORT]

Paul Bhattacharjee who once also starred in Casino Royale, was found dead after being missing one week.

The last person Paul had contacted with was his girlfriend. He had texted her at 9 p.m. on July 10 after he had left the Royal Court in London. The 53-year-old was not able to be found ever since.

The police however concluded that the death of Bhattacharjee not suspicious.

"We are deeply shocked and completely devastated at the loss of our dear friend and brilliant colleague," stated Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone. "Paul has been such an important part of the world of theatre in so many ways and we shall miss him terribly. We can’t even begin to imagine the impact his loss will have on everyone who knew him and all of our thoughts are with his loved ones."

Paul Bhattacharjee's IMDB record shows that he had made appearances in many different TV series, movies, and theatrical dramas, including 'Dirty Pretty Things,' 'The Mistresses of Spices,' and 'An Unsuitable Job For A Woman.'

Rahul Bhattacharjee-Prashar, the son of the late celeb, was shocked by his father's disappearance and possible suicide. He told the London Evening Standard that Bhattacharjee's career had been going well and that everything seemed to be "okay."

Meera Syal, who had been acting with Bhataacharjee, exclaimed, "I am completely shocked at this news. This is so out of character as Paul has such an incredibly professional work ethic. I saw him a fortnight ago and he was very happy with the way things were going with work and about his relationship with his girlfriend."
