Mega Millions numbers will be shown in the live stream drawing for this week's $13 million jackpot, according to the lottery officials.
There is a chance of winning a prize from the drawing of 1 in 40, while winning the $13 million rolling jackpot would be a 1 in 176 million chance.
The lucky winner have two methods to receive payment: A whole payment of $9 million received at once, called the "Cash Option," or an "Annual Payout" that would mean receiving annual payments over a period of 26 years. If the latter method is chosen the sweepstakes champion could take home a figure of approximately $600,000 a year, after proportional estimations from the official website.
The drawing on July 19 popped out the numbers: 16 (sixteen), 20 (twenty), 24 (twenty-four), 39 (thirty-nine), 42 (forty-two), with the Mega number as 46 (forty-six). The Megaplier digit was 3 (three).
Due to the lack of jackpot winners last Friday, the jackpot for Tuesday has increased to $13,000,000 from the $12,000,000 last week. Two 5+0 winners were awarded a total of $500,000, while 18 4+1 winners received $10,000 each.
Players can pay $1 more per playboard to increase the non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, or 4 times. The maximum amount to win without getting the jackpot.
The tickets sold in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C. are also sold in 42 states. Every Tuesday and Friday the numbers will be announced through the Atlanta, Georgia channel WSB-TV after the drawing closes at 10:45 P.M. Eastern Time.
The showing will be at 11 P.M Eastern Time Tuesday and those with a Mega Millions ticket can share in excitement as they await the winner of the huge prize.
