‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Updates: Game To Be Released As ‘Skyrim 2’; Companion Gameplay Will Be Available

Rumors about "The Elder Scrolls 6" continue to haunt the internet, some reports are now suggesting that the game will be released as Skyrim 2 and may feature companion gameplay.
It has been a long time since fans of the series have gotten a new "Elder Scrolls" game. The smart bet would be to have "The Elder Scrolls 6" be a sequel to the last Skyrim game. But a report states something that might even be a little bit better. Skyrim 2 could be a standalone game that will be released by next year while "The Elder Scrolls 6" will get a much later release date.
The only bad news is that if this true, then expect the latest "Elder Scrolls" game to be pushed back as far as 2019.
Speculations are stating that if developer Bethesda is serious about making a "Skyrim 2" game, then the more likely route is to make this one completely different from "The Elder Scrolls." If this is the case, fans might get their fill of the breakout fantasy game hit with a return to Skyrim and a new location in Tamriel for the next three years.
In other "Elder Scrolls" news, gamers have been clamoring for a revamp of the companion system in the game. Since Bethesda introduced this feature, it has grown a bit weary and outdated; A lone companion joins you and helps you in some quest and the romance blossoms.
Some have suggested that Bethesda could retain this companion system and spice it up a bit like making use of a multi-party system instead of a single one. This way the gamer can form his band of mercenaries to join in the quests.
If Bethesda keeps on being silent on a game as massive as "The Elder Scrolls 6," then expect more wild rumors to keep popping on the internet.
