With the holidays coming quickly, Microsoft aims to maintain its lead by revealing special Xbox One S holiday bundles for some of its renowned games, namely 'Gears of War 4,' 'Minecraft,' 'Battlefield 1,' and 'FIFA 17.'
Historically, the holiday season proves to be a trying time, thus the decision to introduce the said bundles.
In an article in Tech Times, they mentioned that the company would be releasing eight types of bundles which will cater to both the preference and budget of gamers. As such, this will be important for Microsoft to stay ahead of Sony's Playstation 4.
As if the moment, it is unclear if the bundles' availability will be for the whole duration of the holiday or until supplies last, so fans would need to get them with haste upon release.
Here are what fans can expect from the Xbox One S bundles, as per Xbox.
There will be three bundle options for 'Gears of War 4' with prices ranging from $299 to $449. The appearance differs, with the limited edition featuring a battle-weathered custom console, the bundle coming in robot white, and the special edition in deep blue.
The bundles also vary in hard drive size, which can be the regular 500GB or the massive 2TB, giving players the option to choose based on their gaming and entertainment needs. Nevertheless, all three options will net the player a copy of the video game as per University Herald.
'Battlefield 1' also has three bundle options costing $299 to $349. Hard drive size ranges from 500GB to 1TB, but the special part is that one bundle comes in a unique storm gray hue while the other is in military green, giving off the feel of the game itself. As always, the bundles carry a physical copy of the game.
Fans may also opt to purchase the Xbox One S 'Minecraft' Favorites bundle, which has a 500GB storage. It features over 230 character skins and additional content packs, a $299 deal any 'Minecraft' aficionado would love.
Lastly, players who love both the real-life game and the console adaptation are sure to enjoy the 'FIFA 17' bundle where a choice of picking either 500GB or 1TB hard drive is available. Ranging from $299 to $349 that comes with the full-game download and three Ultimate Team Loan Legends, this will keep fans glued to the screens.
If those aren't enough, Microsoft further amps up their game by adding new accessories as well as presenting limited time offers. A free, three-month Xbox Live Gold membership offer is up from today until Oct. 29, while a $20 discount off 'Gears of War 4' is available upon purchase of any Xbox One/ Xbox One S console or bundle.
It truly is a holiday to look forward to.
