With the recent trailer of the movie, fans speculate if we can finally see the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow walk down the aisle on the 5th Pirates of the Caribbean installment-Dead Men Tell No Tales. Known for his wit and charisma, Captain Jack Sparrow has flirted with numerous lady characters since his first appearance in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" back in 2003.
Fans of the infamous protagonist played by actor Johnny Depp, suspect that the 5th sequel of the movie will finally put an end to the captain's long flirting queue. As reported by hngn.com, Sparrow originally flirted with the edgy and independent character of Elizabeth Swann, portrayed by Kiera Knightley.
Her strong character fascinated the captain's but the romance between the two didn't push through. Meanwhile, in the Pirates prequel On Stranger Tides, the charismatic captain eventually fell in love with Angelica, a beautiful yet dangerous pirate also dubbed as the master of disguise.
Angelica's character was played by actress Penelope Cruz. However, despite Sparrow's affection for her, the two characters also didn't make it to the altar. But with the release of the new trailers, fans react that a new love interest will emerge who can probably steal the captain's lonely heart.
Another strong lady pirate named Carina will find her way to the captain's way. With reports from hngn.com, the actress who portrayed Carina, Kaya Scodelario said Carina Smyth bumps into Jack Sparrow in "Dead Men Tell No Tales."
Apparently, Carina is looking for the Trident of Poseidon as well and possesses a diary with clues. Sparrow, on the other hand, decides to screw everything up. He isn't the infamous captain without his hits and misses after all. With the three evidently-strong female characters, who do you think best suits the captain?
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" shows on May 26, 2017.
