Who Wins When It Comes To Camera And Video Quality: Google Pixel XL Or iPhone 7 Plus?

One of the things that buyer looks for in a smartphone is a great camera that also has good video quality. With that in mind, let's take a look how two of the best smartphones in the market, Apple's iPhone 7 Plus and Google's Pixel XL, compare against each other.
When it comes to video quality, CNET said the iPhone 7 Plus edges out the Pixel XL. Google's smartphone does have its moments, but Apple's own device is just better overall.
The advantages that the iPhone 7 Plus has on Pixel XL were the color, image stability, sharpness, contrast, low-light shooting, and zoom. The Pixel XL, though, still had its moments.
The Pixel XL beat the iPhone 7 Plus as its autofocus is faster and it sometimes also has a nicer exposure. Google's smartphone also edges Apple's smartphone when it comes to slow-motion video and sharper imagery.
When it comes to taking pictures, though, does Apple still beat Google? It's actually hard to tell as it boils down to preferences, according to The Huffington Post.
Both smartphones have a 12MP Sony sensor at the rear, but the Pixel has an 8MP front camera compared to the iPhone 7's 7MP. Apple is also using the Optical Image Stabilization in both its smartphones while Google uses the Electronic Image Stabilization.
The new technology allows the iPhone 7 to take better photos, even when the user is clicking the phone quickly. Google, though, provides better details in its photo, allowing users to clearly distinguish items in the picture.
The iPhone 7 Plus clearly comes out on top when it comes to zooming, due to its 2x optical and 10x digital zoom while Pixel's zoom feature is lacking. Google's smartphone, though, comes out on top when it comes to taking pictures in low-lighting condition as the Pixel spreads the flash evenly throughout the image, whereas Apple's smartphone focus too much on the subject.
One major advantage that Google's Pixel has though is its unlimited photo and video storage. This means users can just keep on snapping pictures or taking video to their heart's content without worrying about storage space.
It's really hard to tell which smartphone camera is better, considering their both great, to begin with. So it really comes down to preference and what the user needs, but Google's unlimited storage space probably gives it an edge over Apple.
