Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg reprise their respective roles as lead actor and director in the production of the upcoming "Indiana Jones 5". The fifth film installment is already scheduled for release on July 19, 2016 and both men are excited about their reunion.
The official announcement of Walt Disney Studios underscores the solid confirmation in the midst of persistent doubts. Previously, rumors circulate that the next actor portraying the adventurous archeological professor has chosen Tom Hanks.
An article by Latin Post discusses in detail how Spielberg regards both of the aforementioned actors positively. Although there are still reservations regarding the participation of George Lucas as the film's producer, Ford stresses the importance of putting Lucas in the production line-up.
Age is never a hindrance for Harrison Ford. In fact, he even mentioned doing another "Blade Runner" sequel while an upcoming "Star Wars" movie is slated in his busy calendar.
One cannot help but wonder how age truly can affect the occupational risks for the vigorous actor, especially considering that most of his upcoming films involve action choreography. After all, his previous blockbuster film did not leave him totally unscathed.
The Guardian recounts Harrison Ford's recovery from a severe fracture of his two shin bones following a stunt accident while shooting "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Avid fans do have a valid cause for concern for the beloved actor who is simply long overdue for retirement.
Curiously, Ford is not the only celebrity who refused 'to hang his gloves'. Eight-division Filipino boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao, has soundly trounced young champion Jessie Vargas in his recent November 5 duel in Las Vegas.
Harrison Ford will be 77-years-old on the day that "Indiana Jones 5" premiers in worldwide theaters. As of now, there is still no confirmation whether Shia LaBeouf will return as Indiana Jones' brash and impulsive sidekick descendant.
