Youth is a great factor in the NBA and the Toronto Raptors is making the most out of their young players. They have develop them as contenders just like going to the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

Toronto Raptors' young players Norman Powell and Delon Wright are fortunate that they were given the chance to compete against the best players in the NBA last season. The Eastern Conference Finals was a very tough series and both young players played against the team that eventually won the 2016 NBA Championship.

This year, Norman Powell, already primed by last year grueling experience is starting to show improvements in his game. He was not fielded much in the first six games but is showing great form in the last few he played in.

Delon Wright is in sick bay having injured his shoulder last summer. He will be back for active duty in two months.

For the 2016 -2017 NBA season, Toronto Raptors has two rookies in their line-up, Jacob Poeltl and Pascal Siacam. Both were first round picks in this year's drafts.

Pascal Siacam has been immediately put into the starting line-up in his first six games playing in the NBA since Jared Sullinger has been rested for a medical condition in his left toe. His performance is a so far a revelation since he has been wowing fans with his display of power and speed.

Kyle Lowry seems impressed as he has been looking ways to feed the rookie beneath the rim for his now familiar under goal stabs. Even Coach Dwane Casey is convinced that Pascal Siacam will continue to contribute and has given him the confidence to do what he does best.

Jacob Poeltl was given the chance to play when Jonas Valenciunas left knee gave him too much discomfort and Toropto decided to keep him rested. He was up against the powerful Cousins and ran into early foul trouble. All these young players are honing their skills and ready to compete
