Lea Michele is back to work for Glee's 5th season less than a month after her co-star and real life boyfriend Cory Monteith's death.
She tweets a somber photo of herself sitting on the edge of the bed, staring blankly into space during a taping of the hit show yesterday. She was also in the studio last Monday, recording Blue & Perfect which she connoted as "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with," in her tweet.
Glee's executive music producer Adam tweets back, "Lea Michele you are the strongest person I know. That was truly amazing. Love you xoxo." and continues to write, "Lea Michele you were absolutely magnificent today. I am in awe of your strength and your sweet spirit. Love you." It wasn't the first time Lea eased into going back to her singing for the show. On Aug. 1, Michele tweeted, "First day of glee today . . . And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much."
The 26-year old actress is determined to get back on her feet and move forward, with Glee's creator Ryan Murphy saying, "She was very adamant that she thought it was best for the cast and crew to get back to together sooner [rather] than later so that mortgages could be paid and people could take care of their families,".
Lea Michel's real life sweetheart, Cory was found dead in a Vancouver hotel last July 13. Reports revealed that the actor/singer, who's long struggled with drug addition, passed away from mixed drug toxicity.
Lea Michel continues to grieve alongside her family and Cory's and making the "appropriate arrangements" for them.
Glee Season 5 is set to premiere on Fox, September 26.
