John Stamos to Fulfill Quadruple Amputee’s Teenage Dream

John Stamos, famous for his role as "Uncle Jesse" in the 2004 American sitcom "Full House", is taking a quadruple amputee to the happiest place on Earth to help ease the pain during this incredibly tough time.

Kaitlyn Dobrow, 19, has been a resident of Southern California's Irvine Medical Center since last February. Dobrow contracted a deadly bacterial infection called meningocococcemia. The infection is related to meningitis and seeps through the blood stream and stops blood circulation of the limbs.

Kaitlyn has been fighting for her life ever since. She had undergone12 surgeries and multiple skin grafts, including amputation of her limbs in order to save her life.

Kaityln's story reached the actor through her mother Kathi Dobrow, who shared her daughter's story on a fundraising site, which helped raised more than $77,000, helping the family accommodate Kaitlyn's medical expenses as well her other needs for rehab.

Reports say that Kaitlyn is expected to be move to a rehab facility on August 16 to continue her treatment and road to recovery.

Despite all these major life-changing events happening to her all at once, Kaitlyn's father Don Dobrow shared that after crying when she found out about her limbs, she was positive the following day and is determined to make this work.

Kaitlyn's mother added, "Kaitlyn has had an amazingly positive and courageous attitude throughout this illness and is determined to have a happy, fulfilling life, believing that God has an awesome plan for her future. She is my hero."

Stamos shared an Instagram photo of himself at the beside of Kaitlyn with the caption "I'm ONLY doing this cause they asked. I said no press. but this story is a must read- plus me and katie have a date to Disneyland."

The actor then posted a follow-up on his Twitter with a photo of himself and Kaitlyn wearing a Minnie Mouse shirt, all smiles. He shared "We're planning our trip to @disneyland !!!".
