Nicole Scherzinger is allegedly back together with former beau and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton after his recent visit to the Pussycat Doll's LA home "to talk things through".

Now that the top-notch driver has a 3-week break from his hectic Formula One schedule, he makes sure not to waste any time and reportedly have spent 5 days talking to the X-Factor judge about rekindling their romance- and the efforts seemed to have worked.

After being in a 5-year long distance relationship together, the distance and lack of time finally took its toll and the pair called it quits last year. A source close to Hamilton shares that the pro racer was "devastated so when he suggested that he fly out to see Nicole, he was delighted she said yes." He continues, "Both Nicole and Lewis had a bit of time off so it was the perfect time to meet."

Nicole Scherzinger's side firmly states that the couple are still officially not together but they are reportedly desperate to make things work. Lewis' source tells, "They desperately want to be ­together but they know that from now until Christmas is going to be really tough," adding, "They're both willing to give it their best shot and try to make a success of it though."

The Poison hit maker is set to film X Factor while after his break, Lewis will be busy with his Formula One career again, which is why he finds this time the last chance to patch things up and hopefully, make the relationship work. After winning a Hungarian Prix just last week, Hamilton couldn't help but dedicate his victory to Nicole, without saying her name.

The thought on my mind through the whole race was of someone who is special to me and I wanted to dedicate it to her," the 28-year old pro relates. "It's been the toughest couple of months of my life. To come here, after a real downer for the last few weeks, I just wasn't expecting it."

Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger was recently spotted house hunting in London.
