Beyonce premieres her new 'do onstage for the first time in V Festival last Saturday in Essex, England but gets booed by the her audience for being 20 minutes late, leaving the festival goers cold, wet and impatient.
While she showed off her new pixie cut through Instagram last week, the Grown Woman hit maker was quick to add extensions to turn it into a bob as she opened the festival for thousands of goers. To add insult to injury, Metro reports that the "Booyonce" had quite a number of sound difficulties but was still able to pull off 17 tracks fabulously, with 5 costume changes at that. What's more is that the show's presenters Edith Bowman and Steve Jones reveal that Beyonce did not want her headlining set to be aired on TV.
Despite of it all, the star interacts with the crowd saying, "When people ask you in 20 years, you'll be able to say 'I was at V Festival and I saw that Bee-Yon-Cee''. She certainly pulled off a show her fans would remember, as she came out all in glitz and glam, sporting her signature dance moves and singing with just as much power (maybe even more now with her hair). The 31-year old later on goes on to thank and apologize to the crowd, announcing: "Thank you all so much for waiting in the rain... Now let's have some fun in the rain. It feels good doesn't it."
The surprises didn't end there. Even her hairstylist Rita Hazan was stunned after seeing Beyonce shifting instantly from pixie to bob. A source tells the Daily Beast: 'Changing hair is like changing lipstick or eye shadow for her,' a Beyonce pal told the Daily Beast. "I think she gets a kick out of how much the press talks about it." As for Hazan, she speculates that the Halo singer might return to her long locks for the VMA's "Because she's gotta whip that hair around on stage."
