"Jett Jackson” Star Committed Suicide; Left No Suicide Note (VIDEO+REPORT)

Former Disney star Lee Thompson Young was found dead Tuesday morning. Young, who starred in "The Famous Jett Jackson" is only 29 years old.

According to police reports, who pronounced Young dead on the scene, the actor committed suicide and died due to a gunshot wound. The talk show TMZ reported that Young's body was discovered by his landlord after he failed to show up to the set of a show that he's filming. There are no signs of struggle. The police are still trying to search if Young left a suicide note.

In a statement, the Disney star's manager, Jonathan Baruch said; "It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning,"

"Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor; he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.", he added.

Young's acting career began when he joined a community theater when he was a child. When the family moved to New York City, Young became lucky and won the starring role in "The Famous Jett Jackson" show. The sitcom was aired for three seasons and also released a TV movie. After the series went off-air, Young did other projects such as Jamie Foxx's ""Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story" as well as Chris Comer's "Friday Night Lights".

His latest project is "Rizzoli and Isles". The show has to stop filming due to Young's death.

The actor graduated from University of Southern California where he received honors.
