‘Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096' Update: Anime Show To Hit Toonami; Series Reedited With New Opening And Closing Themes

"Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096" will be available in Toonami replacing "Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans." Anime series reedited for better television viewing.
The anime series is based on the Harutoshi Fukui novel. It follows the Mobile Suit Gundam Franchise Universal Century (UC) timeline, Crunchyroll reported.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096" is set in UC 0096, which is 16 years after the end of One Year War. It takes place three years after "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" and 27 years before "Mobile Suit Gundam F91."
The story will focus on Banagher Links a normal boy studying in the space colonies. His life was changed when he had contact with a Gundam that is connected to Laplace's box.
This anime series is not the only anime fans are raving about there's "Girls und Panzers." Jobs & Hire reported that it was the 13th highest grossing Japanese Film.
The series was also able to gain 2.4 billion yen by the end of its run. It was able to sold 162,361 copies of its special edition Blu-ray discs.
Going back to the Gundam series, it has been reported that the series was streamed in Japanese with English subtitles and was dubbed in English. Aside from re-editing the anime for television, the anime will have a new opening and ending themes.
"Japanese composer Hiroyuki Sawano produced a vocal project called SawanoHiroyuku [nZk] for the anime series. Nanami will perform the ending theme song called Next To You, while, Aimer will perform to the show's second ending theme song called Bloody fate," Anime News Network reported.
"Shuuichi Ikeda also narrated next episode previews in the voice of his character Full Frontal. Mobile Gundam Unicorn RE:009 was once broadcast with an optional on-screen data stream components, allowing viewers to use the data to play Gundam online games," the site explained.
From 2010- 2014, the seven-episode anime series was released in theaters and home videos in Japan. "Mobile Gundam Unicorn RE:009" was also released in North America in PlayStation and home videos.
