Many entrepreneurs do not have innate marketing skills, more emphatically for the newbies. Some lacks ideas and strategies, while others simply don't have the drive to keep up with competitors.
To be able to climb the ladder of success and reach the top of the dream enterprise, an entrepreneur must have a set of strategies that will help him tell peole why they should opt for his brands and/or services. Here are the three simple yet proven marketing strategies for small business entrepreneurs.
Know the Brand, Set the Goals
No one else understands the company more than its owner. If the owner himself can't even describe his goal, or what the company is all about, it's more than obvious that no one in the market will have any idea about it as well. And if people don't get why the company exists in the market, they wouldn't dare try get involved in the business as "customer".
It's important that before actually launching a small business, the owner must have a clear vision of where he wanna go, what would be the achievements in the next 10 to 20 years, and he knows every bits about the company itself.
Connect with Customers, Enhance Personal Brand
Personal brand is also an important subject. Once familiar with own business, next thing to do is to keep up with the customers. There is no easier way to call the customers' attention than inviting them to a gathering where they connection can actually be established.
It can be done by speaking at events, organizing an event featuring own products and services, or distributing marketing videos on the internet. According to Entrepreneur, people will then start associating the owner into his own products and services and not just the company.
Increase Credibility Status
If credibility is high, customer trust is high. Most customers prefer making involvements with reputable entrepreneurs no matter how small or big the business is. One way to enhance credibility and reputation is by publishing books or articles.
It can be something about how the company started, life history, study about a business subject matter, findings, or any topic that shows credible information.
