In his latest live performance in Boston, Hollywood comedian Katt Williams handed $1,000 cash to a wheelchair-bound fan in need of kidney transplant, who was seen sobbing during the show, a TMZ report confirmed.

Katt Williams had just finished his show and was wrapping things up with the audience when the security guards noticed the woman heavily crying amid the happy audience.

When the guards approached her and asked what was going on, the wheelchair-bound woman explained that she was crying her eyes out with "tears of joy," noting that it was actually the first time she laughed so hard after being diagnosed with severe kidney problem. She was then escorted backstage to personally meet and thank Williams for the great show he has showcased that night.

When the fan met the funnyman, she began to cry harder while sharing her story about her condition and her desperation for a kidney transplant. Apparently, the comedian was moved by the fan's endearing story; thus, he left the room briefly and came back with a folded up sheet of paper.

When the woman opened the paper, she was shocked by the bundle of $100 bills, which amounted to $1,000. She was also surprised by the note Williams wrote on the paper "God never leaves." More tears of joy leaked from her eyes, saying that Katt Williams's financial assistance to her was really an "awesome surprise."

On the other hand, the woman told TMZ later on that she originally thought that Williams had given her a package of weeds, referencing to the funnyman's involvement with several scandals and controversial issues in the past.

It can be noted that the Hollywood comedian was recently sentenced to a year of informal probation due to a battery case filed against him in November 2012. He received a 10-year firearms prohibition and was fined $200 out of it.

The incident which was caught in tape showed how Williams attacked a Forrest Liebenberg employee on November 25 late last year.
