The best thing about television films is that old characters are easily built into the story line that reinvigorates them. "The Legends of Tomorrow" by DC is gearing towards this direction and has maintained its reputation as a fun series.
CW and Arrow-verse allow reconfiguration of storylines if that is what fans are looking for. According to Cinema Blend, Mark Guggenheim recently hinted that "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 12th Episode may be coming out with a story line that includes Camelot 3000, a 1982 comic book arc.
Camelot 3000 is about the old Camelot characters that are reincarnated back to the year 3000. The complete cast includes Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin and the Knights of the Round Table. They have come together to fight an alien invasion.
It is not clear how "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 12th Episode will blend the Legends into the story line but this is one plot that fans would very much love to see. Of course, the story will not be exactly as the comic arc but the fact that the storyline is used means that Camelot characters will be featured in the film.
It is possible that the old Merlyn character in Camelot will be introduced as a villain member of the Legends of Doom. This is also expected since it is only Merlin who has the reputation to be a character to reckon with.
The Camelot storyline is still a few months ahead but it is something to look forward to. Meanwhile, the latest episodes continue to excite fans as CW has succeeded in continuing to capture the interest of the fans in the Arrow-verse world.
It can be recalled that integration of the famous DC characters started with when "The Arrow" featured in a cross-over with "Legends of Tomorrow" characters. It is not farfetched that the CW will continue with cross-over episodes that will include the "Super Girl" character, "The Flash," "The Ray" and other DC favorites.
