Reese Witherspoon And Kids: They Told Me To Stop Singing Taylor Swift, Katy Perry’s Songs [Watch]

Reese Witherspoon's kids seemed to have heard too much of their mom singing both Katy Perry and Taylor Swift songs. Thus, they would tell her to stop. The actress has been belting out both singers' hits for the animated movie "Sing" which premiered Friday, December 02.

Witherspoon voices a pig character named Rosita who took the center stage and auditioned for the biggest singing competition in town. When interviewed by Entertainment Tonight, the "Interstellar" star told that she thinks knowing that your mom is a person too, is indeed important and that the idea of a pig mom following her own dreams and desires is a beautiful thing, as reported on US Weekly.

Talking about the red carpeted event, Reese Witherspoon brought along with her, her three kids Ava (17), Deacon (13) and the youngest Tennessee (4) together with her husband James Toth. There she also revealed that while she prepared for role, her singing always gets on the nerves of her children from time to time. Hence, her kids telling her to stop singing "Firework" and "Shake It Off", as per E! News.

Indeed the talented actress' version of the two songs sounds perfect on the film. Yet according to her, getting to sing both pop and fun songs was actually challenging. Witherspoon even praised both Katy and Taylor for their hard work saying she now appreciates them more, added the report.

Meanwhile, actor Matthew McConoughey also attended the "Sing" premiere together with her wife Camila Alves and their three kids Levi, (8), Livingston, (3), and Vida, (6) who looked stunning on their bow and ties and dress as per US Weekly. McConoughey voices a koala named Buster Moon in the said movie, who was behind the largest competition in the animal world.

"Sing" which also features the voices of Scarlett Johansson, Seth MacFarlene, Tori Kelly and John Reilly is set to hit the theaters on December 21.
