The much anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is said to be launched in Spring 2017. This new gadget created bigger fuzz since it is likely to have Intel’s latest processor, the Kaby Lake Core i7. It has been said that the company is still waiting for the release of Kaby Lake processor.
Jobs & Hire previously reported that the company remained tight-lipped regarding the released date of their product. The possible reason is that the specs and features of the latest version are not yet ready.
According to Forbes, the Surface Pro 5 will be paired with the current 16GB RAM and storage capacity of 1TB. In addition, this model will also have a rechargeable USB-C ports and Surface Pen. That will make this upcoming model top of the line and at the same time one of the company’s biggest release for next year.
Last month, Daniel Goncalves, a research analyst from IDC Western European Personal Computing, mentioned that the success of Microsoft Surface Pro and iPad Pro comes from being a notebook replacement and the quality it has to offer. Goncalves said, "The devices are increasingly adopted across consumer and commercial segments, and while in the consumer segment both appeal to the 'prosumer' user, in commercial the adoption varies depending on the activities of the end user. iPad Pro is more popular for creative types of jobs, whereas Surface is more likely to be adopted by top executives, partly due to Windows' strong legacy in enterprise."
Microsoft’s latest product is designed to attract both laptop and tablet users. The Surface Pro 5 will have features from both gadgets. It is expected that this will have a fast and more sophisticated processor all in a portable tablet. Windows users will have a lot to look forward to in this device.
There have been talks that the Surface Pro 5 starting selling price is $899 and might go up to $1,599. The price might also vary from the storage and features that the buyer will opt for.
