Scarlett Johansson is engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac, People reported Wednesday.

The engagement rumor between Scarlett and Romain surfaced when the 28-year-old actress was seen flaunting a diamond ring while promoting her latest sci-fi movie 'Under the Skin' at the Venice International Film Festival.

Reporters and photographers reportedly said that the couple was very happy and in love as they attended the movie premiere.

Although a People source confirmed the engagement by saying that the got engaged after Scarlett's journalist beau goes on bended knee a month ago, the 'Avengers' star's representative still has not given any comment on the issue.

According to USA Today, Johansson was spotted wearing a vintage Art Deco diamond ring, which may be proof to the said engagement.

However, Johansson was also spotted wearing diamond rings on her left hand in July, but an E! source said that the actress was "not engaged or close to being engaged," adding that the diamond and ruby ring she was wearing was "simply a piece of jewelry."

Johansson and Dauriac publicly announced their relationship in November 2012, a few months after the actress had called it quits with Nate Taylor.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson also tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds but divorced in July 2011 after three years of being together. Reynolds got married with Blake Lively in September.

E! also pointed out that Johansson sold her Hollywood one-bedroom bachelorette pad in July for $470,000, giving hints that the actress might be looking forward to finally live on a more permanent residence.

The actress told Elle UK that she "never" thought about getting married again back in December.

"It's really not important to me," Scarlett said. "The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, 'Would I get married again?'"

The Hollywood star also added that she is not planning to have kids any time soon. "I'm in a nice relationship, I'm working a lot and, like I said, it's not important to me."
