"Aquaman" is an upcoming superhero film based on DC Comics. Right now, it is one of the most anticipated DC films that will be starred by Jason Momoa who will be playing the role of Arthur Curry. "Aquaman" will first appear in "Justice League;" he is then going to have a solo film that will hit the theaters in 2018.
Recently, GamenGuide reported that Patrick Wilson, who portrayed "Ed Warren" from the latest horror film "Conjuring 2," was given a role in the upcoming solo superhero movie, "Aquaman." Wilson will be playing the role of "Orm" also known as the "Ocean Master," one of Aquaman's greatest nemesis and at the same time his brother.
Arthur Curry lived and grew up on land with his father, while Orm on the other hand, lived his whole life back in Atlantis and became the ruler of the City. When Arthur became an adult, he was given the chance to go back to Atlantis where he was supposed to be the ruler of the City (because he is the firstborn,) to claim back his title. His half-brother, Orm, wasn't so pleased about the sudden homecoming and the dethroning and became extremely mad about the whole situation. He then dedicated his life on attempting to destroy his older brother to regain the throne by using his abilities and powers. The whole sibling rivalry story is probably the whole movie's plot - according to Cinema Blend.
Furthermore, Patrick Wilson will be in the movie together with Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe. Amber Heard will play as Mera, Arthur's love interest. Meanwhile, Dafoe will play as Nuidis Vulko, a politician in Atlantis and Aquaman's mentor based on the comics. However, whoever is going to be playing the role of Black Manta, the other super villain that will be appearing in the movie as well - is not yet revealed.
Reports from Jobs & Hire stated that the movie will be released in October 2018. Right after the release of other upcoming DC films such as "Wonder Woman", "Justice League", and "The Flash".
