Muhammad Ali is non-arguably one of the greatest boxers of all time. He may have passed away but his legends lives on as HBO makes a documentary series about the legendary boxer.

HBO announced that they are on the verge of creating a documentary about Ali's life and career, including exclusive footage and photographs from the late boxer's family.

The documentary will be directed by Antone Fauqua from "Training Day". Acclaimed basketball player LeBron James will be producing this film.

Entertainment.ie reported that the movie "will chart Ali's achievement in and out of the ring." The site stressed that this is not the first feature documentary about Muhammad Ali.

Muhammad Ali has been the subject of a lot of documentaries from "When We Were Kings" to "Ali." However there has been a lot of things that the world does not know about the famous boxer.

Jobs & Hire reported two years ago, that when Ali was still alive his net work is estimated to be $50 million. The site reported that this was $30 million less than he had four years ago.

Kary Antholis, HBO Miniseries President, explained that Muhammad Ali is a distinctive figure in sport. His impact has reach beyond the boundaries of boxing.

Antholis explained that when LeBron James told them how he was inspired by Muhammad Ali, they become committed in making documentary that will serve as a tribute to the late boxer.  She added that their "enthusiasm has only grown as Antoine Fuqua has developed his compelling cinematic vision for telling one man's incredible journey," Variety report.

Antoine Facqua is reported saying, "Muhammad Ali meant many things to many people, and he is someone who had a deep impact on me from an early age. Being given the opportunity to tell his story, both inside and outside of the ring, is a privilege, and a dream come true." To date, there has been no release date for the film but it is expected to grace TV screens in late 2017.
