There is a heavy air circulating about NBA trade rumors on Indiana Pacer's Paul George. The rumor hasn't died for almost two years now- a testament on how George is being perceived as an additional force for other teams. Nevertheless, with George still having two more seasons under an existing contract, will he really be up for grabs?
Last season, the Pacers were ranked number seven seed before getting destroyed by the Toronto Raptors. At the first-round series that lasted for seven games, the trade rumor has sparked with sports analysts claiming that it's time for Pacers to shift gear. However, the Pacers were not shaken. The team had high hopes when it ushered the 2016-17 NBA Season.
Then a report from Sporting News and Yahoo!Sports a few months ago fuelled more trade rumors on George this time with Detroit Pistons. The articles kept fans thinking on what if Paul George and Monta Ellis will be exchanged with Stanley Johnson, Tobias Harris, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and three more potential first-round picks from the Pistons.
Inquisitr predicted that if that happens, Paul George and Monta Ellis joining forces with Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson will become a formidable force in the Eastern Conference. It will also give the Pacers the chance to rebuild the team as there is a heavy line-up of players to choose from.
However, despite formulating these scenarios, the Pacers is not showing any sign of letting Paul George go. They know that Paul George is an asset to the team. George's individual stats can speak for himself. Therefore, it is not George who is causing a smack-down for the Pacers but the other players.
Paul George is a very delectable player for other teams. Many teams want him. In the latest scoop from Jobs & Hire, Boston Celtics is waiting for him should he change his mind.
