Johnny Depp Faces Big Financial Crisis Due To Divorce Charges Filed By Amber Head

It was almost a year since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard tied the knot however the latter stood up and filed a divorce against her allegedly abusive husband. Heard already finalized her divorce separation against her ex-husband Johnny Depp after a continuous legal and court battle wherein Heard accused Depp as emotionally and physically abusive partner.

A few days ago, Heard, talked about her own experiences on domestic violence in honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Towards Women. According to Yahoo News, Heard stated that there is a lot of bad connotation and shame attached to the label 'victim'. She also added that there is more to addressing physical violence and that is dealing with the media coverage and talking about the 'abuse' issue in public as similar to what she's been through.

Furthermore, Heard said that women should take responsibility on how to talk about domestic violence publicly. She suggested that in order for women to comfortably speak up about their abusive relationship the people involved should make away and change the system of the place that makes the victim silent.

However, according to People, Heard and Depp have not totally finalized their divorce proceedings as Heard continuously requested legal transfer of assets and financial charges. She requested Depp's private island in Bahamas to be legally transferred to her belongings including Depp's outstanding debt from cars, jewelries, and stylist fees. All in all, Heard additionally requested $35,435 legal fees to be paid.

Heard was set to receive approximately $6.8 million from the $7 million that the couple initially agreed upon. The $6.8 million was already subtracted from the money that Depp already donated to Heard's preferred charities including the American Civil Liberties and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
