"The Big Bang Theory" Jim Parsons is a versatile actor. He is not only an actor but he can be an effective worker behind the scenes. The 43-year-old became famous as the brilliant physicist in the long-running comedy show on CBS as Sheldon Cooper.
When asked if he is willing to play a role that is the opposite of his brainy character in the series, his reply is positive. He said, "Yes! I used to get cast frequently as dumb people. Or rather, they were either not bright or had a certain idiot savant quality about them. There is great joy in playing someone who doesn't know what the hell is happening."

Jim Parsons enjoyed acting with the three lead actresses - Janelle Monae, Taraji P. Henson, and Octavia Spencer. They were the three African-American who will do the math that enabled the astronauts to get to space in the 1960's. The calculations enabled the famous American astronaut John Glenn to orbit Earth three times as per the Inquisitr.
The film which will open on Christmas Day is based on a book released by Margot Lee Shetterly. The film is directed by Theodore Melfi.
Meanwhile, "The Big Bang Theory" will air its winter finale of season 10 shortly after "Hidden Figures" hit the theaters. As the show takes it final bow for the 10th season, Parson's contract with the show will also end as it was signed by the actor till season 10 only.
The famous TV show is going to have and spin-off and it will be the younger Sheldon Cooper story. Jim Parsons is going to produce the said project.
Until Jim Parson's contract gets renewed for season 11, he will be focusing on his own venture with his long-time partner, Todd Spiewalk. They own That's Wonderful! Productions. Their latest project is a comedy show, "Lakeside VA." He is also working on "Lance 2.0" which is another TV show written by Alex McAulay.
