Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski are expecting their first baby in just a few months' time, Yahoo! reported Wednesday.
Blunt's representative confirmed to Us Weekly recently that the Hollywood actress is pregnant and is expecting is to give birth a couple of months from now.
Blunt and husband John Krasinski tied the knot in Italy in a star-studded ceremony in 2010. The source added that the 3-year-old couple has always been vocal and has never been shy to express their desire for having their own children, noting that they had been making moves in the past to ready themselves for parenthood.
"They both want kids, it's one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family," the Us Weekly source explained. "They both couldn't be more excited."
The 30-year-old British actress opened up about her desire to start a family and have kids with John in an interview with Manhattan magazine last year.
"We want to have children; I just don't know when yet," Blunt confessed to the magazine. "I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families, so I think it's something we want."
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Krasinski told Matt Lauer on the 'Today' show a few months after Blunt's interview that he has been getting a taste of fatherhood and enjoying the idea of being one through his pals, who are now dads as well.
Krasinksi shared that he enjoyed spending some time with celebrity dad Matt Damon and his kids while the two of them were still working on the film 'Promised Land.'
"We actually wrote with children climbing all over him, and he was doing bath time and dinner and everything, and we still got it done," Krasinski told Lauer during the interview.
