Some celebrities, such as Eva Longoria, have been successful in the restaurant business, while Jessica Alba’s success with her non-toxic product line, The Honest Company, has made the “Dark Angel” star into a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, other celebrities have decided to take the plunge by investing in some of the hottest tech companies and startups around.

Ashton Kutcher is one prime example of a celebrity who made wise choices when it comes to investing, as the “That '70s Show” actor has invested millions in Uber and Airbnb. But there are other celebrities who have also built up impressive investment portfolios, which will likely keep them very comfortable in case they decide to take a break from acting.

According to Thrillist, Jared Leto has stakes in 14 companies, which include Blue Bottle Coffee, Reddit, Nom, Reserve, and Surf Air, among others. It’s possible that the “Suicide Squad” actor enjoys luxurious perks from these companies, such as the on-demand private jet service that only flies around California.

Lady Gaga invested in Backplane, an app wherein you can connect with people who share your interests. Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres and Justin Bieber both invested in Stamped, a mobile application that enables users to record and share information. The company has 12 investors, and apart from DeGeneres and Bieber, it also counts Ryan Seacrest, Columbia Records, and The New York Times as investors.

Leonardo DiCaprio invested in eight companies, including RUNA, Diamond Foundry, Rubicon Global, Casper, Zuli, and Cue. Justin Timberlake decided to invest in companies related to entertainment, and the singer/actor has invested in Miso Media and Stipple.

Beyonce invested in WTRMLN WTR, a company that produces cold pressed watermelon. The “Formation” singer also invested in an app called Sidestep, wherein fans can connect directly with their favorite artists by allowing them to browse and buy concert merchandise, experiences, and exclusive items.
