A "Fantastic Four" reboot is in the works, and several actors are currently already testing for the leading role of Mr. Fantastic.
One of the actors in the run to play Reed Richards, who can stretch and mold his body, is Kit Harington of the "Game of Thrones" fame. He plays Jon Snow, a bastard boy with noble blood who goes north of his kingdom to fight zombies.
Other actors who are also up to the part are Jack O' Connell and Miles Teller.
Actresses who are reading for the Invisible Woman Sue Storm (who can turn invisible and create force fields, previously played by Jessica Alba), include Saoirse Ronan (from Host), Kate Mara, and Margot Robbie.
Also, the only actor who had been called up to read for the part of Jonny Storm (the 'human torch,' played by Chris Evans who is currently Captain America in the Marvel Universe) is Michael B. Jordan, who as many recall played one-thirds of the high-school trio of friends who acquired superpowers in "Chronicle."
As of yet there have been no names announced for who may be reading for the part of "The Thing," a man who develops rocky orange skin and super strength.
Producers have also been quiet on as to whom will be playing the supervillain in the series.
"Fantastic Four," which revolves around the adventures of four scientists who acquired superpowers after a space mission that exposed them to cosmic rays. The villains that have appeared in the film are Dr. Doom, the Silver Surfer (later turned deuteragonist) and the planet-eating Galactus. Ioan Gruffud, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis portrayed the Fantastic Four in the two previous films while Julian McMahon played the villain Dr. Doom.
The "Fantastic Four" reboot is predicted to be released in theater in 2015.
