Apple Announces iPad Air, Its Thinnest and Lightest Yet

Apple announced the new iPad Air, the latest version of its 9.7-inch screen iPad tablet featuring a lighter and thinner design, a faster processor inside and a Retina Display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.
iPad Air features the new 64-bit A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor also found in the iPhone 5S, 8 times faster and has 72 times better graphics than the former processor, Apple announced.
The tablet, available in silver and white and space grey and black color, also has a 10-hour battery life, a 5-megapixel iSight Camera and a FaceTime HD front camera.
The 7.5mm thick and one pound iPad will start at $499 in November 1st with an LTE version at $629. Apple informed will also keep iPad 2 among its products for $399.
