As promised, Apple software chief, Craig Federighi, announced that today, the OS X Mavericks update will be available as a Mac App Store download completely free of charge.
Mac users can roar in delight with a free software upgrade all thanks to the OS X 10.9 Mavericks that they will be getting for free at the Mac App store today. Weighing in at 5.29 GB, the operating system promises a vigorous notification system which include inline replies, a more reliable support for multiple monitors and full screen applications, all topped with a better potential of speed and efficiency. It also furnishes a Finder revamp, and the iCloud Keychain for easily saving passwords for multiple websites.
Though many other apps will experience an upgrade, users are far more excited with this free download all because of the better functionality it entails. When the OS X Mavericks is installed, it will automatically remove fake book and fake pages in Contacts, torn pages in Calendar.
This is the first time that tech giants, Apple, will release a major software update free of charge. In line with Apple's release of the iPad Air and iPad Retina. The newer versions of the iPad came just in time-just when technology analysts say that Google's Android will overthrow the tablet game and take the throne from Apple.
