A lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court  by a man named James Johnson, who claims Lindsay Lohan's reckless driving has damaged not only his vehicle, but his emotional and mental state.

A lawsuit has been filed against troubled actress, Lindsay Lohan, involving a car accident that happened on June last year. According to the lawsuit, the "Mean Girls" star was under the when she intentionally slammed her black Porsche 911 into James Johnson's car when the said parties were both driving in Santa Monica's Pacific Coast Highway.  Johnson claims that when the actress rear-ended his vehicle, Lohan failed to adjust properly for the slowing traffic at that moment.

It is also said in the lawsuit that bags of prescription pills and a bottle that reeked of alcohol were found inside Lohan's car after the incident, leading to DUI charges that made the lawsuit even stronger. The lawsuit was filed to recall the incident that happened on June 8, 2012, and also states Crossheart Productions as an added defendant for lending the actress an automobile despite the clarity that Lohan was not suitable to operate a vehicle at that time.

The lawsuit intends to press several charges against the "Liz & Dick" actress, including speeding, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and reckless driving. Before the accident, Lohan has been charged with a couple of misdemeanors related to her driving which includes obstructing an officer from performing duties, lying to a police officer, and reckless driving. The actress accepted a plea deal that made her check-in to rehab for 90 days. Lohan completed her rehab stint in August earlier this year.

At the moment, Johnson claims he is under "great physical, mental, and nervous pain and suffering," and that the accident has led to lost wages.
