The Miss Universe 2013 has finally announced its winners for this year's competition after its finals night at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia, November 9, where 86 Miss Universe 2013 candidates battled it out for the much-coveted title in the world.
Miss Venezuela Gabriela Isler was crowned Miss Universe 2013 while Miss Philippines Ariella Arida, who has been making a lot of buzz for being the toughest contender and crowd-favorite of the beauty pageant lands 3rd runner-up.
Other Miss Universe 2013 candidates who made it to the top five include: Miss Spain as 1st runner-up, Miss Ecuador as 2nd runner-up, and Miss Brazil as 4th runner-up.
According to Yahoo! although Miss Philippines Ariella Arida wasn't able to bring home the crown this year, her victory in making it to the top five among the 86 Miss Universe 2013 candidates is already more than enough to bring hope to her country, which recently suffered from "the world's strongest typhoon" called Haiyan or "Yolanda," which devastated the Visayas. Alongside this is the 7.3 magnitude earthquake which damaged local areas in Cebu and Bohol.
The national broadcast of the Miss Universe 2013 competition will be aired through ABS-CBN at 9 a.m. local time.
The judges for the 62nd Miss Universe Competition include: Russian pop King Philipp Kirkorov, Tara Lipinski, Chef Nobu, Italo Fontana, Anne V, Carol Alt, Steven Tyler, and Farouk Shami.
Ex-Spice Girls member Mel B, MSNBC Live anchor Thomas Roberts, and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo co-hosted the Miss Universe 2013 competition.
