A Florida man was arrested Friday for masturbating in front of several people in a lobby of an office.

According to UPI, 34-year-old Edward Michael Alvin, masturbated at a West Palm Beach DMV office when he got board.

The Orlando Sun-Sentinel reported that Alvin started to masturbate at around 11 a.m. that day in the lobby of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles office.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest report stated that an off-duty Delray Beach police officer saw Alvin masturbating and reprimanded him right away  since several people could see him doing the indecent act.

Authorities said the Florida man was arrested after he ignored the officer's order to stop. He was then charged of indecent exposure, but was apparently released later that night.

Alvin has a previous record of getting arrested last July. He was accused then of stealing a former boss' car and crashing the vehicle while driving under the influence. Court records reveal he had a pre-trial diversion.
